Lie down.
Not sitting. Lying down, properly, somewhere that can hold you for twenty minutes.
Lights off, or as close to off as you can get.
Headphones on.
Good.
No premise tonight. Nothing to think about. Nothing to work out.
Just this.

Now.
Let the bed take your whole weight.
All of it. Most people hold a tenth of themselves up out of habit.
Let that go.
Nothing under you needs your help.
Let your head be heavy.
Heavier than feels necessary.
Breathe in through your nose. Slowly.
And out through your mouth. Longer.
Again. In.
Out.
Again.
In.
And out.
Let your jaw come apart.
Let the teeth separate.
Let your tongue rest.
Let your shoulders drop away from your ears.
Further.
Good.
Now down through you, slowly, and you do not have to help with any of it.
The top of your head. Softening.
Your scalp, letting go. There are muscles up there that have been working since you woke up.
Your forehead, smoothing out.
The small ring of muscle around each eye, going slack.
Your eyes resting, not aiming.
Your cheeks, heavy.
Your jaw, loose.
Your mouth, soft.
Down the back of your neck. Lengthening without you stretching it.
Into your shoulders.
They always have further to fall than you expect.
Down your upper arms. Heavy.
Your forearms.
Your wrists.
All the way out to your fingertips.
Warmth there. Or a faint pulse. Or nothing at all.
Any of those is right.
Your chest, rising and falling without supervision.
Your stomach, unclenching. That one hides.
The whole length of your back, giving in to what is underneath it.
One small section at a time.
Your hips, letting go of their grip.
Down through your thighs. Heavy now.
Past your knees.
Along your calves.
Into your ankles.
And out through your feet.
That is all of you.
None of it needs you for the rest of this.
Breathe in.
And out.
Now I am going to count you down from ten.
You do not have to do anything with the numbers. Let them go past.
Ten.
Settling.
Nine.
Heavier.
Eight.
Your breathing has already slowed without you arranging it.
Seven.
Warm.
Six.
Whatever was in your head an hour ago is still there and it can wait until morning.
Five.
Halfway.
Four.
Softer through the face.
Three.
Nothing left to hold.
Two.
Almost gone.
One.
Stay there.
Good girl.
Every breath out from here takes you a little further down.
You do not have to time them. Your body has been doing this your whole life.
Out.
And further.
Out.
And softer than that.
Good girl.
Let me take you down once more, because there is further to go and no reason to hurry.
Picture a stair. Soft underfoot. Unlit. You do not have to see it clearly.
Five.
Down one. Warmer here.
Four.
Down again. The air is heavier.
Three.
Your hands have stopped belonging to you in any way that matters.
Two.
Almost nothing left.
One.
And off the last step.
You are at the bottom now.
Stay there.
It is dark and warm and nothing here needs anything from you.
Breathe in.
And out.
If sounds reach you from somewhere else in the building, let them arrive and let them go.
They are not interruptions.
They are proof the world is carrying on perfectly well without you tonight.
Which is exactly the arrangement you want.
Breathe.
Good girl.
Now.
You are a sissy.
Let it sit. Do not do anything with it.
You are a sissy.
Again.
You are a sissy.
Feel where it lands.
Most people say the chest. Just under the collarbone.
Put your attention there.
Warm. Small. Quiet.
You are a sissy.
Again.
You are a sissy.
Say it back.
I am a sissy.
Again.
I am a sissy.
Again.
I am a sissy.
Good girl.
Breathe in.
And out.
Deeper.
You are soft.
Say it.
I am soft.
You are pretty.
Say it.
I am pretty.
You are gentle.
Say it.
I am gentle.
Good girl.
Again.
I am soft.
Again.
I am pretty.
Again.
I am gentle.
Feel how little those cost down here.
Up there they would be enormous.
Here they are nothing.
Breathe in.
And out.
Again.
You are a sissy.
Again.
You are a sissy.
Say it back.
I am a sissy.
Again.
I am a sissy.
Good girl.
Deeper.
You are warm.
Say it.
I am warm.
You are quiet.
Say it.
I am quiet.
You are safe here.
Say it.
I am safe here.
Again.
I am safe here.
Good girl.
Notice nothing in you argued with that.
Notice how long it has been since nothing in you argued.
Breathe in.
And out.
Let your breathing go where it wants.
You do not have to steer it.
Down.
And further down.
You are a sissy.
Again.
You are a sissy.
Again.
You are a sissy.
Say it back.
I am a sissy.
Again.
I am a sissy.
Good girl.
Breathe in.
And out.

Now something to hold.
There is something soft near you. Folded. Put away where nobody looks.
Silk, or lace, or something that simply feels that way.
Pale. Warm from where it has been kept.
Put your hands on it.
Feel the weave under your fingers.
Cool at first.
Then warm, where your hand has been.
That is yours.
Say it.
That is mine.
Again.
That is mine.
Good girl.
Feel the weight of it. There is almost none.
Feel how it would sit against your skin.
Cool. Then warm.
You do not have to do anything with it tonight.
Just know it is there.
Just know it is yours.
Just know it has been waiting a long time and is not in any hurry.
Breathe in.
And out.
Hold it a moment longer.
Feel the edge of it between your fingers.
Feel how light it is.
Nothing you have ever been afraid of weighs this little.
Say it.
It is only soft.
Again.
It is only soft.
Good girl.
And it is mine.
Say it.
And it is mine.
Again.
And it is mine.
Good girl.
Let your hands go now. It is not going anywhere.
Breathe in.
And out.
Now let a colour into the room.
Pale rose. The quiet kind. Not the loud kind.
In the corners first.
Then along the walls.
Then everywhere.
Warm and low and soft.
You are lying in it.
Breathe it in.
And out.
You are a sissy.
Again.
You are a sissy.
Say it back.
I am a sissy.
Again.
I am a sissy.
Good girl.
Deeper.
Let the words come apart a little. You do not have to follow them.
If you are only hearing the shape of my voice now, that is the right place.
Stay there. You do not have to come back.
The part of you still listening underneath is the part I am talking to.
You are a sissy.
You are soft.
You are pretty.
You are gentle.
You are exactly what you are.
And nobody is checking.
Say it back.
Nobody is checking.
Again.
Nobody is checking.
Good girl.
Breathe in.
And out.
Stay down here.
Let me say it a few more times, because repetition is the whole method and we are not rushing.
A thing said once is a claim.
A thing said forty times in a warm dark room stops being a claim.
It becomes furniture.
You stop noticing it is there and you stop moving around it.
So.
You are a sissy.
Again.
You are a sissy.
Again.
You are a sissy.
Say it back.
I am a sissy.
Again.
I am a sissy.
Again.
I am a sissy.
Softer.
I am a sissy.
Softer still. Barely voiced.
I am a sissy.
Good girl.
Let the last one hang there.
Do not chase it.
Let it settle wherever it settles.
Breathe in.
And out.
Feel how still you are.
Feel how little is being asked of you.
Nobody is waiting for an answer.
There is no version of tonight where you did this wrong.
Breathe.
Good girl.
Now, very gently, we come back up.
You keep whatever you want to keep. That was never up to me.
One.
Two.
Three. Your hands again.
Four.
Five. The room coming back.
Six.
Seven. Weight returning.
Eight.
Nine.
Ten.
Open your eyes when you are ready.
There is no hurry and nothing waiting for you.
Sit up only when sitting up feels easy.
Have some water near you if you can. Twenty minutes under always leaves you drier than you expect.
One small thing, for tomorrow.
Once, in daylight, say it in your head.
I am a sissy.
Once. Then get on with your day.
That is how it stays true when the room is not warm and my voice is not in your ears.
And if you made it to the end, leave me a comment that just says good girl.
Nothing else. I will know.
Say good girl in a comment, and subscribe to Aria Wilde on Patreon.
Sleep well.
You were very good tonight.
