Makeover ASMR Script: Skincare, Makeup, Wig and a Mirror Reveal
By Aria Wilde · updated 2026-10-19 · 6 min read

A makeover is a perfect ASMR scenario because every step is a sound: a brush on skin, a sponge being dabbed, a zip being pulled, a lid clicking shut. The listener sits still and is looked after. There is attention, touch implied by sound, and a payoff at the end, the moment the mirror is turned.
This is an original F4M personal-attention script for a makeover. It follows the real order of a face routine, so it works as a performance, a recording, or a quiet reference for doing the steps yourself. For the technique side, feminine makeup for beginners and the skincare routine explain what each step does.
How to perform it
- Length: about eleven minutes at a slow, hushed 100 words a minute.
- Microphone: close, slightly to one side for a left-ear/right-ear feel. Move gently when she "walks around" the chair.
- Props, if you have them: a soft brush, a makeup sponge, a lipstick bullet, a tube you can squeeze, a hairbrush, tissues, a zip.
- Pacing: pauses of four to six seconds are intentional. They are where the sound does its work.
- Stage directions are in italics. Sound cues are marked (sound: ...).
- Tone: gentle, attentive, a little playful. She is enjoying this as much as he is.
The script
Settling in
(quiet, close)
Hello, lovely. Sit down here for me. That is it. Let me tuck this towel around your shoulders so nothing gets on your clothes. There.
(sound: towel fabric, a soft tuck)
I am going to take care of you tonight. All you need to do is sit still, breathe, and let me work. You do not have to do anything at all.
(pause)
Close your eyes if you like. I will tell you everything before I do it.
Cleanse and moisturise
(whisper)
First, a gentle cleanse. I am taking a little cleanser on my fingertips, and I am going to warm it between my hands.
(sound: rubbing hands, a soft squelch)
Now across your forehead, in tiny circles. Along your temples. Down your nose. Around your cheeks. Slow and steady.
(sound: soft fingertip circles, close to the mic)
I can feel how relaxed your face is getting. Your jaw has softened. Good.
(pause)
I will wipe it away with a warm cloth. Just a gentle press.
(sound: damp cloth, light pats)
Now a moisturiser. A little on each cheek, then smoothing it out with upward strokes. Cheeks, forehead, chin. Light as a feather.
(sound: soft stroking, lotion)
Next a little primer. It is silky. You will feel it fade into the skin. This is what helps everything else stay in place.
(sound: tapping fingers, patting)
Base and colour
(low, very gentle)
Now the foundation. I am taking this sponge, nice and damp, and dabbing it onto your skin. Tap, tap, tap. Not rubbing. Dabbing. Up your cheeks. Over your forehead. Around your nose.
(sound: sponge tapping, slow rhythm)
There. Smooth and even. And a little concealer under your eyes, here. Look up for me. Good.
(pause)
Let me brush on a touch of powder. A big, soft brush, like a feather on your face.
(sound: brush strokes, wide and airy)
Now for blush. A little pink on the apples of your cheeks. Smile for me. There. Just a hint, because you already look lovely when you blush for real.
(sound: brush tapping on the pan, soft stroke)
Eyes next. Close them. I am drawing a slim line along your lashes, and a soft neutral shade on the lid. Lightly. A flick of mascara, the little brush upward through your lashes. Hold still. Beautiful.
(sound: pencil, soft strokes; a tiny click of a mascara cap)
Lips and wig
(softer, a little teasing)
Lips last. Hold still. I am choosing a rose colour. Not red, tonight. Just a rosy mauve that makes you look like you've been thinking about someone.
(sound: lipstick twist, light dab)
Press your lips together. Now blot them on this tissue. And once more, a thin layer.
(sound: tissue, soft pop of lips)
Now your hair. We are going to cover it, just for the evening. I have a lovely wig, soft brown, loose curls.
(sound: wig cap stretching, a gentle snap)
First the wig cap, to tuck everything away. Hold still. There. Then the wig, over your forehead and back over your head. A little nudge here at the temples. A little pat at the back.
(sound: fabric rustle, brush through hair)
Let me brush it through. Long strokes, from the roots to the ends.
(sound: slow brush, close left ear, then right)
A dab of hairspray, just to hold it. Close your eyes again. Mist in front of your face.
(sound: spray, a short hiss)
The finish
(whisper, tender)
Almost done. A little jewellery. I am putting these small earrings on you, one side then the other. Hold still. There.
(sound: clasps, tiny clinks)
A spray of perfume at your neck. One. Two. I want you to smell like something I would like to be near.
(sound: spray, soft)
And a last look. I am going to step back and see you properly.
(pause, a pleased breath)
Oh. Oh, I like you very much.
The mirror reveal
(soft, warm, slow)
Stand up for me. Slowly. Walk with me to the mirror. I am right behind you with my hands on your shoulders. Not yet. Keep your eyes down.
(pause)
I want you to take a breath. In. And out.
(pause)
Now look up.
(long pause, three to five seconds)
There she is. See her? See how lovely she looks? Look at your cheeks, your eyes, your lips. That is you. It was always in there.
(pause)
Tell me what you see. Tell me one thing you like. Anything.
(pause for answer)
Yes. And I see someone brave. Someone who let me take care of them. You looked after yourself tonight by trusting me. That is very attractive.
(close, whispering)
Stay a moment. Look. And let yourself enjoy it. You do not need to be anywhere. You are exactly where you are supposed to be.
(pause)
Goodnight, pretty. Sleep well.
Recording tips
- Layer your sounds. Record the dialogue first, then re-record each prop sound close to the microphone. It is easier to balance later.
- Keep a slow metronome in your head. Lotion and brush strokes should sound like a heartbeat, not a hurry.
- Pan the sounds. Move the brush and the sponge slowly from one ear to the other so the listener feels you move around the chair.
- Leave space for imagination. Do not describe every product; trust the listener to fill in textures.
- Whisper selectively. Whisper the intimate lines, use a soft speaking voice for instructions. A whole script in a whisper loses clarity.
Sound cues at a glance
| Step | Prop | What it should sound like |
|---|---|---|
| Towel | Cotton towel | A soft tuck and rustle |
| Cleanser | Hands, a tube | Warm rub, a small squelch |
| Moisturiser | Fingertips | Slow stroking, wet and quiet |
| Foundation | Damp sponge | Rhythmic tapping, about one per second |
| Powder | Large brush | Wide, airy sweeps |
| Lipstick | Bullet | Twist, then a light dab |
| Wig | Cap, brush | Stretch, snap, long strokes |
| Perfume | Atomiser | Two short hisses |
Record each prop in its own pass if you can, then place them in the stereo field. Left ear for the first pass, right ear for the second, centre for the reveal.
Make it your own
Swap a character: a friend before a night out, a stylist in a salon, a girlfriend on a quiet Saturday. Change the order if you like, but keep the main beats: touch, transformation and reveal. For more roleplay premises, ASMR roleplay ideas has dozens. The tone of praise in the last section is developed more in the girlfriend praise script, and if the wig stage is the part you want to explore, how to pick your first wig covers fit and care.

Frequently asked questions
What is a makeover ASMR script?
It is a personal-attention roleplay in which a performer talks the listener through cleansing, makeup, hair and a final reveal. Every step is paired with a texture sound, so the script doubles as a relaxation audio with a small transformation story.
What sounds work best in a makeover ASMR?
Brush strokes, sponge tapping, lotion squelches, lipstick twists, hairbrush strokes, spray bottles and fabric rustles. Keep each one slow and close to the microphone, and pan them between ears to create the feeling of movement around the listener.
How long should a makeover ASMR be?
Ten to fifteen minutes is the sweet spot. That fits a full routine, with a reveal at the end, without dragging. For longer videos, add a second look or a hairstyle stage.
Can I do this script without a wig?
Yes. Replace the wig section with a hairbrush and clip stage: brush through the hair, pin it back with a clip, add a headband. The structure and sounds stay the same.
Is this script suitable for solo use?
Yes. You can read it as an audio guide, or follow the steps yourself in front of a mirror. It also works as a calm self-care routine because each step is slow and sensory.
